Anonymous and all this is a single slide? 0 Mar 4 2007, 5:08 AM EST by Anonymous

I think any slide that has more than two words in it is doomed to fail. That is - every single word that appears on the slide takes away from the attention the speaker receives from the audience. The poor listener is forced to divide his/her attention between the wordy slide and the speaker (which usually says the exact same things only with different wording).
Assuming you (or someone else) is going to present the slide, I would just write some bullets on it. Start with the definition (you can leave this sentence on the slide if you don't remember it by heart), then show examples of web2.0 sites. The text under each example should be minimal. For example, under YouTube you could put these bullets:

- > 100M videos/day (50TB of data)
- User generated & copyrighted (e.g. CBS)
- Acquired by Google for $1. 65B

You get the point - remove 90% of the text, and explain things by yourself rather than read them from the slide.
Finally, don't forget Flickr, the flagship of web2.0! ;)

I hope this helps.

Anonymous RSS & JSON are NOT web services 0 Feb 24 2007, 10:33 AM EST by Anonymous

Don't overload the term "web services". it has a clear meaning in computer-lingo, and web services are now more and more frowned upon. JSON and RSS are data formats.
